What are those red candy apples with granola coating called?


Now all i see are caramel apples and hard red candy apples. Or red apples with peanuts.

When i was a kid, they used to always have this candy apple with a red coating + granola oats(i think) on the outside. The red candy is soft and a bit mushy.

And when you bite into the apple, you feel like your in heaven.

Where can i find them? and what are they called?? I went to a local fair called “Fall Fair” in southern California and they didnt have this type of apple candy! I was very sad:(

I’ve only known them as Candy Apples. There’s also Caramel apples…

Wow, I never realized it was Granola. I was too distracted by the yummy gooeyness of it all.
