7 year old birthday party themes?


My son will be 7 in May and I need some ideas for his party. He will either have a party with 8-10 boys or with his whole class which is 26 kids. Please give me some ideas (not too expensive though) for a cool party. One girl in his class had a t-shirt party where she supplied t-shirts to all of the kids and they used special clothing crayons and drew all over them. I was thinking about going to the movies (for the 8 boys) or maybe bowling. Any ideas would be great.

Some of the bowling places let you do it in the dark with neon lights. It is pretty cool. There are also places like Chuckie Cheese. Some of the movie places have special rooms to have the cake part. There are some awesome animated movies coming out. Over the hedge, Cars (but not until June)
Or you could do a ninja theme and rent an anime movie and see if a karate place would do a one lesson party.
