Theater Arts - Who are the Mummers?
Mimo is a type performing arts, where the artist shows the whole matter with the help of the action and without spelling or a word. Go here now http://britainsgottalentvideos.blogspot.com
Such types of performers are known as mimes. Other kinds of dances such as break-dancing has many steps inspired by the mime, the most Michael Jackson's famous moonwalk. The clowns also trained in mime.
Like most performing arts, the reason behind the birth of this art is of Greek and Roman theaters. The story of the origin of mime is back to the third century BC Theater of Dionysus in Athens. At that time was not completely mime without words as the modern mime. Although there was some dialogue delivery, which was minimal and there was no choir, which is the key element of the theaters at the time. were known mime as Phylakes at that time.
The stories were tragic at first with a moral at the end. Some of the writers were known mime Epicharmus, Laberius Tenth, Syrus Pubilius, Herod and Sophron. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the mimes were part of court interpreters across Europe. They were known as Saltator or Mimus and that's how the word is derived mime. sword swallower, young theater actors, acrobats and jugglers were also known by the name of Mimus. On the basis of this invented patented silent role as the cowardly husband, old forgetful and many others. Also grew as a comedy not silent in Italian opera as mime, British Pantomime, mask and commedia dell'arte in Italy.
In modern times there are mainly two categories of Mime. The first type is called pantomime in which the emphasis is on the body as a whole with facial expressions, gestures and body language. Just no place for this type of support care. Instead the imagined objects and is an illusion created for the public. Here are the facial expressions and body movement is exaggerated.
The second type is Corporeal Mime. It was developed through the efforts of people like Jacques Lecoq and Etienne Decroux. Here the body is used to express something that even words can not express. Emotions and thoughts are given to make the invisible visible. This is not done in some more by the daily gestures, but to discover the range of human body to its fullest. Version update also includes elements from other performing arts such as dialogues, puppets and writing.
A mime is always presented with a painted face greater concentration on the lips and eyes, highlighting the red and black, respectively. The white gloves are a necessity, as it is used to increase visibility of hand movements. The costume consists of a black suit with white lining, shoulder straps and a black hat.
Many other countries have their own type of mimicry according to their culture. The best example is the Indian classical dance. Mukhabinaya or face and eye expression was a part of the original Indian dance Bharat Natya Shastra Theatre Muni, which is an Indian version of mime. Includes an extensive vocabulary of hand gestures and stylized positions. The illusions are created by Mime who plays an action landscape, and be alive. Sometimes the song and the music of the instruments or the movement of a shaft of the dancer's feet results support the mime. Visit here now http://britainsgottalentvideos.blogspot.com
