I was a goat for Halloween one year, and I found a little bell at the dollar store to wear around my neck. I wrote “Gruff” on the bell with sharpie (because I was a Billy Goat Gruff) but you could write a cute cow’s name like Bessie or Daisy on yours.

Or, you could get a big blue bow to tie around your neck because you won first prize in the prettiest cow contest.

Also, when I was a goat I took black felt and sewed it to my socks to make cloven hooves (kinda like mittens for your toes with the big toe in one section and the rest of the toes in another section). Just the tiniest detail but so many people commented on how cute my feet were!

You could also take a black or white toque and sew black and white felt ears to it, and paint some little devil horns white or black and glue them to the toque as well. I did the same with a grey toque and tucked most of my hair up into it.

Of course you’ll also need amazingly cute cow eyelashes. Just wear the longest, softest-looking fake lashes you can find.

For the mouth/nose, you could colour the bottom of your nose (where your nostrils are) above your lips and your lips pink, then take a dark eyeliner and trace the upper edge of your upper lip. Extend the line out a bit past your natural lips. You might want to practice the makeup ahead of time to see if you like it.
