Rhode Island jobs restaurant. Where are they?

The Rhode Island restaurant industry is hurting because of the bad economy. Many residents of Rhode Island has lost much of its heritage when the stock market crashed. Some residents of Rhode Island hit retirement age and were forced to withdraw money from IRA accounts after losing much of its value.

There are also many other factors that created this perfect economic storm in Rhode Island and other parts of the country. Many of these people were regular patrons and sponsors local restaurants in Rhode Island until this happened. Ask any server in any restaurant in Rhode Island and everyone will say same. Many regular customers have disappeared, while others do not eat out much. The loss of half of their net worth overnight will do to a person.

I spent 35 years in the business of restaurants in Rhode Island. I started washing dishes at the restaurant of my grandparents, near Rocky Point Park in Warwick. From there I worked my way up the culinary ladder to become the opening chef of several restaurants and the previous Adesso California Cafe, Cafe Nuovo, Raphael's Bar Risto Also a chef at the Clarke Cooke House Candy Store and Grille in Newport, among others.

Never did a great income as a Chef de Rhode Island, but I loved what I did, of so that was all that mattered. That was until I saw the light.

I am not a chef, except at home. I have left the company after discovering the work of their dreams. I was reading an article by a Rhode Island Chef line that changed my life.

The article caught my attention because it seemed genuine. After reading your article and thought some, I followed your advice and joined WAU to learn new skills.

I can make over six figures working from home and would never dream of going to the hot stove. Now enjoy dining in restaurants Rhode Island rather than sweat my ass on them.
