does anyone remember bonkers candy?


i just thought of it – it was my favorite candy as a kid – they had red/pink – and purple. do they still make it? where can you buy it ? i want some bonkers so bad i can’t stand it ♥

Bonkers are no longer made.

They were made by Nabisco, but discontinued sometime in the nineties. They had a rather well known series of commercials where people would be pummeled by large pieces of fruit that represented the insanely huge flavor of the candy. (You can find them on YouTube.)

They came in fruit flavors and chocolate. They were duo-colored, with a center that was slightly lighter than the outside.

Be careful, there is another candy hanging around called Bonkers that you may see in candy stores that’s made by Joyco, but it’s not the same thing.
