Asian-Inspired Sweet 16 Party Ideas?


Hi everybody :) I am having an asian sweet 16 party for myself and about 50 or so other people. I have been all over google and other search engines looking for cool party ideas that don’t involve those cheap-looking paper decorations you buy at party supply stores. If any of you know of some really neat and unique ideas and you want to share, please post them here! The party is going to be in an old stone building and it has 6 round chandelier-type things in the ceiling. It also has a balcony over the dance floor. The rest of it is just open floor space. So please post your ideas here! Thanks :)

Here are some ideas for you:

1) You can give away chopsticks for favors or give away personalized fortune cookies.
2) Have asian foods such as chinese, sushi, etc. Also have a fun green tea drink for everyone to have.
3) For centerpieces, pick up different sized bamboo plants and place them in a glass square with neutral rocks and water. Very cool and trendy. You could also have origami on the tables as well.
